What a tasty treat ive got for you today..You Eat yet?...lol... Coz ive been cooking food all afternoon and its just far to good to go to waste! i think ive got a pretty good idea now of what i like to eat in terms of musical ingredients.. It really needs a little of everything, lyrics, baseline, and rhythm, and of course the goose bump test. If it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up, then it passes the rehabs test. All the tracks in this mix passed with flying colours..

After Dinner Mint Mix!

So what did you eat for your Sunday dinner?.. What ever you ate today, I hope you were in company of your nearest an dearest. The world seems so busy many people working on Sundays, missing out on family time.. ive also had to do this in the past. I personally think sundays should be family time, or down time..its a crazy world and sometimes its just a bit too much for me..i would secretly like to disappear and live up a mountain. Growing up, I remember all the shops being closed on sundays. For me its just nice for us all to sit to the table and have a conversation.
This mix is for after dinner, kind of like an after 8 dinner mint.... its very after dinner ish...
And when you have listened to it, you will probably tell that i had a lovely family meal today.. The good news is that there was enough left in the pot for tomorrow...And you know the food will taste even better tomorrow!...

Daughters Mix 2

My 21 year old daughter has been really pestering me for another mix..so, yesterday she raided her mothers music and chose a load of music and so here it is....I hope you like it daughter of mine....

She it seems likes a slow jam or 2.. with a new urban flavor....i have said that im not a big fan of the newer modern urban style music...but sometimes something catches me...and if i really listen to them they are not so different to the music i was listening to as a teen....lol...only the people i liked played real instruments... and used less technology..loool

I used to have 2 decks and a mixer.....now i use my laptop with a programme with 2 decks an a mixer...is it the same or is it different...Well what do you think?...it saves a lot of space..and i can if i want to make music anywhere!....progress.... i still own a deck and an amp, big speakers and various separates...they live in the loft..lol...The deck in the living room now plugs into my laptop...so i can still use my vinyl...
