An Inspired Soul
My Alarm went off too early! I experience one day that felt like spring, and immediately, I sprung into action 10 days ago gutting the living room off all its contents. Cleaning everything within an inch of its life and putting it back all different. It Looks lovely. A couple of new cushions and it looks like a brand new room. It is from this 'new' room that i make music for us this night. The energy has completely changed. You will see that its for the better as i do.
This weekend what do i see, sleet rain Grey cold and more cold. So im back with the Horlicks and snuggle blankets being a little grumpy...LOL Like a bear who was woke up too soon From her cave. Grr
Ive been gathering bits and pieces and sticking them in a folder for my next compilation. Its a little eclectic, what with my mood. I feel like a child on a Sunday looking out the window wanting to be outside but mama says its too cold to go out!... SOON!..You will notice that i snuck in an usher tune, listen out for it, his take of Barry Whites secret garden...Its got some other djs tag all over it.. but what can i say other than its a CHOONE... and i just had to play it same way...My daughter would tell me im ghetto... lol... *Blows Raspberry* Fabulous!!!!
There are some great tracks in this new one. And after the success of Cupids hunting Global podcast.... im feeling very inspired, and i just cant wait for spring!!!!

There must be "spring" in the air because this mix does have an air of "re-born" inspiration about it.
ReplyDeleteThis is what I love about your blog. You are true to your first musical loves, the music you grew up, raved & partied to, made babies to, smiled to....yet you're not afraid of the new. Good music is good music, whatever year it comes from.
Keep on being inspired.
Respect,
Eugene
PS
It's passing the ironing test also.
Way to go, girl!
I agree, good music is just that.. Theres some great stuff being produced still. Fortunate for us. As you have so colourfuly pointed out for us before theres a pile of crap being produced/ manufactured too. I still laugh every time i hear hanna montanna. Or my mum, want to discuss the X factor...Which i cannot stand... although the auditions make me laugh. popular music has its place i guess, thats why its called pop. its just missing that vital ingredient. I dont really know what that is but it always hits me from the soul up. Perhaps thats the X factor.
