Greetings everybody. I have seriously been neglecting my blog. Believe me its hard finding the time and energy it takes to keep it going. Been so busy at work and home life is pretty busy too. So i appologise for the  lack of posts so far this year....My bad as my daughter says.

Had this folder on my desktop since Bob Marley's anniversary. Happy birthday Mr Marley he would be 66 this year. It got me thinking about what has come from reggae since the great man died. Big things.. I wonder what he would say about all the great artists that have come after him. His spirit lives on through the legacy he left behind, and im sure his smiling in paradise right now..So with all that said. Well typed, lets proceed with todays offering of thanks for another day. (Cupids Hunt) Special Valentines Edition of the Couch

 

Yes Its that time of year The time for lovers!.This is the second year that i have participated in this global event.Cupids hunt is an online collaboration where podcasters, bloggers and djs from all over the web-sphere release a love themed podcast in honour of valentines day. Get ready to be filled with up with some amazing musical goodness. So tell me have you found your Mr or Ms Valentine? Were they what you imagined to be? Some of my friends have a criteria list that they wont budge an inch from. Well let me tell you if you have one of those lists. Rip it up!...Love cannot be controlled, categorised, or tamed. 

One of my favourite books is called the Prophet by Kahlil Gibran. You really need a copy of this book.  he wrights; "Love gives naught but itself and takes naught but from itself. Love possesses not nor would it be possessed; For love is sufficient unto love." 

Whether you are single or in a relationship it matters not...We all love..For the love of great music, the love for ones self, family, friends...And all of humanity!...

Cupids Hunt Podcast Collaboration Comming Valentines Weekend!!!

Hello..its been a while...February...the month of love, we certainly need something to get us to spring. Perhaps im speaking for myself..Been cooking up some  music for  a special collaboration podcast that will happening on valentines day weekend..so stay tuned its gonna be big.. A Global internet extravaganza.... Meanwhile, here's some that almost made it to the A list...Get Set to pucker up those lips, lets keep it simple this year guys..were in a recession, so the little things really do mean so much..let me assist in a small token gift..A mix For loving..Mwah!.It Seems to me, that time is the most precious commodity. Everybody I know is having to work extra hard. Wouldn't it make sense to spend some precious time together. Lynden David Hall sings it this selection so well with his track Day off.

Also John Stoddard who also features..This compilation is for you Sir..xx We both been hunting for Sades remix babyfather..its not out yet but Mr Dennis Bovell did say he was going to see if he could forward me a copy..What a nice man..
